God promised that He will give to the earth a Son who will bruise the head of serpent and rule the world. When the Son was conceived, the same serpent pursued the mother/woman into the wilderness to destroy her, God gave the woman protection, having been angered, the same Satan pursued the Seed of the Woman (The Church) till now by using and instigating hatred against the Church through world leaders and nations, The Church has suffered persecution, martyrdom, imprisonment, harsh laws and banishment, all these are to put the Church into extinction.
